Inspiring Excellence in Primary Education

Temple Grove Academy Trust

The Trust was invited by the Department for Education to sponsor an Academy in the Sherwood Park area of Tunbridge Wells. Temple Grove Academy opened in 2013 and with strong leadership and dedicated support it is now in a programme of rapid improvement. The Trust is committed to sponsoring more primary schools and building a federation of five excellent academies in Kent, Sussex, Surrey or Hampshire.

Haberdashers’ Aske‘s Federation

The Trust co-sponsors the primary phases of the Haberdashers’ Aske‘s Federation of all-through academies, led by CEO Adrian Percival. The Federation now has five primary campuses in disadvantaged areas of South East London, including a free school.

Enrichment Funds

Through the provision of enrichment funds to all academies carrying the Temple Grove name, the Trust encourages activities beyond the classroom, expanding pupils’ learning outside the confines of the academic curriculum. Such activities are known to stimulate sociability, responsibility and initiative in young people, as well as introducing them to a wide range of experiences that they would otherwise never enjoy. This makes learning fun and better prepares pupils for the next stage in their lives.

The Trust recruits Governors for the academies it sponsors. In helping to provide an independent oversight of the management and operation of the academies, the Trust continues its aim of improving the quality of education provided and raising standards.

Temple Grove Schools Trust is a charitable trust dedicated to raising standards for all primary education.
